We filed I-751 in January of this year. Notice of filing acceptance came February, then Notice of Biometrics which was completed on March 13 of this year. We actually we filed for removal of conditions in January but I post this so the members here will see how long the wait time is
(5 months so far after biometrics). We did the biometrics in Albuquerque New Mexico since we live in Northern New Mexico. No problems..went very smooth. Officials there are very helpful.

The form I-797C is stamped and dated on March 13, 2015 so I presume if the interview "yes/no" notice is not sent or we do not get an RFE notice that my wifes 1 year Greencard extension is based on the biometerics date? What form is used and when do I file an extension request if this ends up being the case? I checked the EAC number on the website for status and it only states they have the file on hand.

No surprise there... we've grown used to the drawn out process.

Some others have asked the question of during this time of the ROC process what should be done to inform Homeland of required travel outside of the US borders. I ask this because my wife's mom is experiencing possible serious medical problems and we are concerned my Mother-in-law will require assistance. The village where mom lives now has very little (read that as none actually) assistance and the housing is difficult too (many flights of stairs and no Lift). It is possible my wife will have to travel back to her birth nation for an unknown length of time. For now we wait for the governement...as always... :clock:

Just noted on timelines that 6 to 9 months wait for Vermont Center ROC or notice of interview is not unusual. Almost there...and my wife is now

eligible for N-400 (we've already celebrated our third anniversary..married on April 20, 2012) so she's been working on the civil exam tests while we wait. It's all good.. stay positive!
