Not receiving NOA 2

My fiance filed K1 petition on April 29, 2015. He received the notice of approval June 10, 2015. We waited for almost two months to get our case number. He called NVC and the agent gave him the case number. We're not receiving the NOA 2 yet. One of the requirements for my medical examination is the letter of case number and I don't have it yet. We just got the case number after my fiance called NVC. Can I have my medical examination even without NOA 2 since I already have MNL case number? I'm so worried. When will I receive the letter? Thanks!

Yes, you can have ur medical exam as soon as u get the case number, same thing happened to us, we didn't get the NOA 2, but we received an email with the mnl case number, I presented it to st lukes and they accepted it. Case number Lang ang importante

NOA2 is the approval notice for the I-129F petition. It does not list your consulate case#. It is not needed for the K-1 visa interview process, but it is needed later when you are married and filing for AOS.

The letter from the NVC will state your case#. Some never receive the hard copy letter from them.

Don't forget to bring copies of the confirmation page of your DS-160 as well as copies of your interview appointment schedule. SLEC might ask for those.
