Hello Everyone,

What's the total costs of the IR-1 / CR-1 immagration process? In "Comparison of Marriage Based US Immigration Choices" - it says $903. The I-130 costs $420, so what are the other costs for that add up to $903?

I need to know becasue I'm having a family memeber send me a check from the U.S., so that I can make the I-130 payment and I would like to know if I should ask them for any additional checks that I may need in the future.

$120 for Affidavit of Support processing and $320 for immigrant visa later on.....

$325 IV fee

$165 Green card fee

And the medical fee which varies by country, I think...but you pay this directly to the doctor in local currency.

The AOS, IV, and Green card fees can all be paid online, but the AOS and IV must be paid out of a US bank account.

Will the IV and Green Card be paid for when we're in the United States or before we leave for the United States?

We're coming from the sunny country of Taiwan.

Hi,

The IV fee must be paid before the IV can be issued, so you pay this fee before entering the U.S.

The green card fee can be paid either before or after.
