What Visa Should I apply for?

Hello all,

I have enrolled in some medical feild preparation courses in the USA 1 year ago, I have completed my courses. I used my F-1 Visa in my Passpost issued by an institution [Kaplan]. Which is Still valid.

I then Came back home because I finished my medical liscence exams.

Now, the application season for my desired job in the USA is approaching, and I am expecting some interviews in the near future. But I won't be able to use my F-1 Visa to enter the USA because I don't want to be under the regulations of the sponsering intitution —I will have to attend their courses, etc

So, I will need another VISA, just-in-case, I get an interview invitation.

Q1: What VISA type should I apply for?

Q2: I have no ties to my country, since I have no job, car, house. So, I think that a B1/2 Visa will be difficult to get.

Q3: Will they approve my visa if I need one "Just-in-case" I get some interviews, Or must I wait for the Interview invatation as a supporting Document?

1. I don't think there are any visas to be granted just to show up for interviews.

2. Yes getting B1/2 visa is difficult in your case.

3. Since you completed your study and went back and now want to come to US for job, the only way you can come to US for job is through work permit (H1) which the company has to file on your behalf, get selected and approved.

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US
