hello every one, today i got a mail from uscis about my i485 case, the mail was about a notice of potential interview waiver case, they also said that i might not need an interview to complete my case,

can anyone here please explain whats all this mean, im getting confuse, thanks

It means that you may not have an interview and will be approved without one. It is a somewhat standard letter and they may still

give you an interview 50/50 chance. With an interview approvals are faster, without interview it can take 12-14+ months for you to receive

the GC.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yes the letter claims to have a maximum of six months. Right now those who submitted their aos packets in August and September last year and received these letters are seeing the most approvals. I've seen a couple people filing as late as December getting approvals. If it really was a six month maximum we'd only be hearing of January and February filers being approved. The six month point is when someone might listen if you complain about how long is taking. So don't take the six month maximum too seriously
