Hi, I have already received packet 4 as well as my interview letter, and my case status is shown as READY on NVC's website. According to packet 4 I need to register my appointment online, however it keeps throwing me an error that says the following:

"The Immigrant Visa case number provided is not ready to schedule an appointment. If you have not received an appointment letter from the National Visa Center (NVC), you can check the status of your IV case at http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/nvc.html."

I've double checked all my numbers and they were correctly entered.

Has anyone encountered this error before??

There have been problems with the website recently. After I registered my husbands interview, he went to send in a missing document, and was told they couldn't find him in their system. So I went to login and it told me the email I registered with isn't in their system. So I had to redo it. Try calling NVC and see what they tell you. Or email the website staff- taj_contactus+il+info+en@visaops.net
