so, have you found usa bank that will open a bank account for you ? or is the patriot act messing you up?

US visitor visas require applicants to show strong ties to home country. I don't see any so far, other than 10-15K assets; even the Real Estate is not yours.

You may have a great business idea earning thousands in monthly profits.. your words.. invite your busy business partner to demonstrate your plan and show him some of that famous Lankan hospitality. I hear the cuisine and beaches are great!

oooh...yeah...ties are the problem..why i can't show my farther real states ?next owner is me...I am just passed 19...seems like this is not working..i have to get decision..

I am going to give up this idea...visa idea...but however i will start my business...soon or future...Anyone have good advice?

I hear the cuisine and beaches are great!

I did a 17 day cycling trip starting north of Kandy and basically heading south, would strongly recommend. Did have a few odd looks as to why you would want to go though customs with a mountain bike.

I don't want to discourage you but one of my friends and the person who builds my websites lives in Sri Lanka. He does very well for Sri Lankan standards and works very hard to save money and better his life. He recently applied for a tourist visa and owns his own home, also has over $10k in the bank. In my opinion it would make absolutely no sense for him to move to the U.S. because his life is better there because of exchange rate and cost of living. His tourist visa was denied. What you are trying to achieve isn't easy. You would probably be just as likely to get a tourist visa, unless your partner wants you to come as an employee type situation. You will probably need lawyers to help out if you want to go the business route.

He can open a bank account in the US if he comes here, goes to a branch office, shows his passport and completes a few fed docs. You will need a Tax Payer ID as well. Gonna have to file taxes :)

It's not that easy.. I'm not sure someone on a tourist visa can even get an ITIN, which requires jumping thru a few hoops. Opening a bank account under the USA Patriot Act requires documentation that a B1/B2 visitor typically does not have.. ITIN/SSN, credit checks, State-issued ID, domicile etc.

I am going to give up my idea..my uncle in USA...so..i am going to Handover My plan,website sketch and evething to my uncle..and problem is discussing and sharing ideas...i will try to handle it with him..this method very slow down business work process..and i will get my uncle business account...i am going to use his like a finance manager...ha haaa.....i will hope everythings going better...

i suggest involve the uncle only for the business banking account, and nothing else.

His other option is to open a Premier Checking account with HSBC in Sri Lanka and he can access the account any where in the world.

Thanks....no my uncle 10000% thrusted...so...i will going to discuss about that....

I don't know HSBC bank detail...i need paypal..reason is most 90%+ e money earning peoples and buyer using PAYPAL bank..it is very secure and safe method...

Seems like my new idea little bit risky and slowly....but i have no another options..no visa,no usa..no meeting with designer...no banks..ha haa...totally stuck...

..before start business..i will apply for b-1...but no hope...just apply and i will check what happen..
