So I am beginning to compile our packet I-751. The evidence list is freaking me out!!! I know I should have been looking ahead, however I didn't . We have:

Deed with both our names

Joint bank acct

2 years of tax returns

Car loan together

I only have a life insurance with him as my benificiary

We have not had a chance to go on vacation, because let's face it this process is expensive!! I didn't think to place his name on any bills. We currently don't have children yet. Im affraid these are not going to be enough. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

As has been mentioned numerous times recently, wills, DPOAs, Healthcare POAs are good evidence and good for later on in life. Take a peek at recent forum threads, this is a very often-asked line of inquiry.

I'm compiling for next year. You still have time to add him to bills and have at least 6 months of bills. I have a box that I put everything in that has either name on it, including junk mail.

For tax returns, did you print out all pages?

My husband and I filed jointly through turbotax, and the federal/state tax return forms contain 42pages. Should I print them all or are first few pages enough?

Tax transcripts are shorter and are preferred over full tax returns.
