Hi ,

Do we need to take medical reports for the biometrics appointment?

I have scheduled medical examination and biometrics one day after another .

When i had a re-look at the biometrics appointmer confirmation mail, The mail says this:

Instructions You have scheduled an appointment for a non-immigrant or immigrant visa to the U.S. Most applicants will have an appointment at the Visa Application Center (VAC), followed by an appointment at the Embassy or Consulate. Please carefully review the important information below. Coming prepared will ensure you the best service possible.

What documents do I need to bring?
Checklist for Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) Applicants

Appointment confirmation letter

● Your current passport and most recently expired passport

● Print out of the DS-160 confirmation page

● Supporting documents for your application, as applicable

●Documents and photographs for any children under age 14
Checklist for Immigrant Visa (IV) and Diversity Visa Applicants (including K-1 Fiancé Visa)

Appointment confirmation letter
● Your current passport and most recently expired passport
● Print out of the DS-260 (or DS-160 for K visas) confirmation page
● Police clearance certificate from the regional passport office
Medical report (X-ray films and discs not required)
● Original and photocopy of birth and marriage certificates
● Affidavit of Support (Form I-864 or I-134), sponsor’s recent tax returns, job letter, and pay stub (if applicable)
● Proof of relationship between petitioner and beneficiary (if applicable)

Additional Documents For K-1 and DV Applicants Only
● K-1 visa or DV fee payment receipt

Do i have to take all these documents specified in the immigrant visa for the biometrics?

PLease help!! :(

My interview will be at Mumbai Consulate. Can I attend Medical and bio-metrics at Hyderabad??

Only if there is an approved panel physician in that city.

My husband did not take all of those documents with him. I believe that all he took was his passport, appointment confirmation page, and the DS-160 confirmation page. We filed for the K3 visa, which they treat like an Immigrant Visa.

Medical examination costs depends on the type of vaccines which are suggested to you( if you don't have your vaccine record) .The range varies from 4k to 8k totally.
