We got our NOA2 on 7/6 and NVC just received our petitions today, 7/22. No case number yet though...

Wow! That is pretty fast

It seems so, but we're hoping we can navigate through it all and get to where we need to be. One thing I will say here is, the stories here are amazing and distance, as much as we all hate it, seems to sharpen us and fine tune our love for our other half. We have so much credit to give to technology which has replaced weekly or monthly letters with nest second e-mails, private messages and so on to keep the flame going. yes, there are frauds out there, but for the most part, the people here seem to be stridently in love. Would be kind of cool if the UCIS and NVC read some of our stories. :-)

I love reading the stories too, I just wish we didn't have to go through so much to be with our spouses, I'm a wreck everytime I have to say goodbye, i normally start crying a week before he has to go back and surprisingly there is still enough tears left by the time we get to the airport :cry:

I'm going bananas of checking everyday . The long wait drives everybody crazy

I used to do that, and then the one day i decided not to check, we got approved! :D yours will come

Check Cashed- Feb 26, 2015
NOA1- Feb 27, 2015 :dancing:
Received in mail- March 2, 2015

NOA2- July 15,2015 :dance:(4 months, 6 days)

Case Sent to NVC- July 23, 2015 (8 days)
NVC Received- July, 29, 2015 (6 days)

Received Case and IIN #- August 13,2015 (15 days)

Submitted DS-261- August 13,2015

I got an email stating my case was sent to NVC, did you get an update from NVC once they received ? how do they communicate ?

Nope, I heard that you will have to call NVC to find out if they have received your case

ohh okay, well I went to look about my fingerprints, will be collecting them next , month and mailing them off to my hubby, is there anything else I need to mail to him other than that and the front page of my passport?

Copy of birth certificate, copy of police certificate, and 2 x U.S. size passport photos :)
