I had mine on Thursday last week and checked my status all Friday and today, so far it hasn't been issued. I heard one lady keep saying, "You'll get your visa within the week." Another man kept saying, "You'll get your visa within one to two weeks." I got told the latter.

I don't know if it distinguishes between visa types - but I hope that's an over estimate !

Congrats on your approval its such a relief hey!

:)

PS oh my gosh are you going to go live in Maine?? That's where I am going !

...I didn't think anyone went to Maine (hahahah)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'm an Australian getting having my visa appointment in Frankfurt, but I think the standard is 1-2 weeks. So nerve-wracking having to wait!

I lived in Camden, Maine in 2013 it's such a lovely place :) I'll be living in Boston when we FINALLY make it over there.

good luck everyone!

I had my interview on Thursday and my status on the CEAC website still says 'ready' (for interview). So if the lack of progress there is anything to go by I doubt I will be receiving my visa this week. The man that interviewed me told me 1-2 weeks so I hope thats the case because I have booked my flight for August 3rd

I knowwwwwwww its so frustrating. I have my flight booked on the 3rd of august and I'm just like in denial that I'm even moving overseas because i feel like I'm never gonna get my visa back and this week has gone soooo slowly lol ...buuuutt whatever I just need to be more patient i suppose. But thats a good idea, sending them an email, I'm gonna do that now

So my passport still hasn't been touched since 22nd July - im getting SO antsy.

I tried calling and of course the menu just goes round and round no matter what numbers you press - so I sent another nice email. I hate getting no response. Argh,

Anyone else had much luck?

Nope mine hasn't been touched since the 20th.

I emailed them on Thursday night still no response :((((

I don't hold to much faith in the CEAC website anyway but it would be nice to know where my passport is

:clock::cry:

Ok I just got an update.

They finally replied to my email and said "your visa is approved you will receive it within one week".

It now says "Administrative Processing" on CEAC..HOWEVER I just got another email saying it has been Issued!!!

SO HOPEFULLY NOW THAT IT'S ISSUED I WILL RECEIVE IT BY FRIDAY FOR MY FLIGHT ON MONDAY!!! (Fingers crossed)

- but worst case as long as its in the next week, I should still make it for my birthday and my friends wedding

I checked mine on CEAC a few times yesterday and nothing, then got the email back saying they had technical issues and it is now issued. Then I got the formal email about it.

Good luck I hope you guys get yours in less than the week lol !
