Pd april 2014. Just submitted all financial and civil docs last week. How long will it take nvc to review docs? How many months more waiting time for the IL ...excited...

NVC website says it will take 30days for them to review the documents..

they will only care for your current address so they can send any communication to the right address

Pd sept 4, 2014. Paid AOS FEE and while waiting for the IV FEE submitted the financial and supporting document as what i was told by the NVC personnel after a week Paid the IV FEE and submitted the DS-260 after few days. Now, Im just waiting for whats gonna happen next. Also, I filed petition for my husband as a LPR. June 25 2015, I became a US citizen and that same day sent email to then about my request for upgrade but until now its already August and petiiton hasnt been upgraded yet. Called them and aked but no one can confirm that they received my email regarding the request to upgrade.. almost 2 mos. wondering when they will upgrade my category. Hoping itll be soon.

Hi All, just want to ask the following especially to those who have finished their AOS and IV packages

We will be sending my wife's paystubs for proof of income, does it have to be original or a photocopy would do?

Regarding the federal income tax return requirement, is that the form 1040?

In the checklist, a proof of relationship (Financial documents part) and marriage certificate (Supporting documents part) is needed, what's the difference between the 2? Should the proof of relationship be pictures, etc, or can we just use 2 marriage certificates (1 for aos package and 1 for IV package)?

What is 'petitioner documents' in the checklist?

paystubs doesn't need to be original.

1040 is the income tax transcript, she can request it from IRS website and can be printed out online or have it send to her by mail, here's the:

Proof of relationship: marriage certificate, pictures, remittance receipts and others that proof you can think of that shows your relationship

base it on your tax transcript. Ur current total income. Ex. If u have the 2014 tax transcript the total income is what u have to put in there.

My PD sept.4 2014 got my WL July 17 . Hopefully you get yours by October. While waiting start collecting your papers. I called NVC after paying my AOS and asked them if I can send my supporting and financial documents since its already complete while waiting for the IV fee and they said yes.So start collecting those papers.Godbless

They usually say 30 days but it really doesn't take 30 days for them to review your docs, they reviewed mine only for 13 days then 17 days for someone that I know which also under f2a.. Hopefully you'll get answer within 2 weeks.. try to call them after 2-3 weeks to check your status, its takes a while for them to send a case completion notice..

Sent an email regarding request for petition upgrade f2a to Ir last june 25th. I havent receive any confirmation that they received the email. Called NVC and still they said they cant see it.sent the email 7th times.Im Worried why I didnt receive an email stating the received my email.. I hope my case gets upgraded soon.
