She currently has her advance parole card for leaving the country legally while the green card is being processed. I work for an airline in San Francisco, Ca and i use to vist her via Japan and sometimes Korea. She holds a Philippine passport . I am wondering if we fly using my standby benefits will Japanese and Korean immigration question us because she doesn't have a regular ticket? I am a U.S. citizen and use to do this alot without any problems...???

My wife is Filipino as well. So long as the layover is not overnight, and she stays in the airport, she can transit through Japan. I don't know about Korea though. Depending on the airline, we either transit through Japan or Taiwan when visiting the Philippines.

If you have to exit the airport, she'll need a visa. If you don't have to go through immigration and just through the transfer area, no problem. Korea and Japan have pretty similar visa rules these days.
