Hi everyone, I will be submitting my I 130 package this month for my wife and my son in India. Would like the members to review my package list and give me reviews on it regarding what should be added in it or removed from it.

Thanks in Advance guys.

Got married May 2014, Son born in March 2015.

Package contents

1. Covering letter.

2. Form G-1145

3. Completed and signed form I-130

4. Check for I-130 filing fee

5. Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (petitioner).

6. Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (beneficiary) – spouse.

7. Completed and signed by mother form G-325A and photograph (beneficiary) – son.

8. Sworn affidavit.

9. Copy of my BIRTH CERTIFICATE

10. Copy of my PASSPORT

11. Copy of my PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD

12. Copy of Beneficiary-Spouse’s BIRTH CERTIFICATE

13. Copy of Beneficiary-Spouse’s PASSPORT

14. Copy of Beneficiary-Son’s BIRTH CERTIFICATE

15. Copy of Beneficiary-Son’s PASSPORT

16. Copy of our marriage certificate’s

17. Evidence of support to our marriage showing

a) Cell phone bill’s showing same address in India

b) Joint Bank Account Certificate of Petitioner & Beneficiary – India

c) Joint Bank Account Certificate of Petitioner & Beneficiary – USA Bank.

d) Sworn Affidavit

e) Wedding Pictures

f) Reception Pictures

g) Pictures with family members

h) Marriage Invitation Cards both Petitioners & Beneficiary’s.

i) E- Visa Copy of honeymoon destination

j) Honeymoon Plane Tickets.

k) Honeymoon Hotel Booking Confirmation

l) Honeymoon Pictures

m) Pictures with our 3 months old son.

n) Birth certificate of our son showing both Parents name.

o) Passport copy of our son showing both Parents name.

p) Passport copies of Petitioner & both Beneficiary showing common home address in India.

Question:

Are color copies of the original documents accepted by USCIS?

Should the copies be certified by a notary or a US Consulate?

Should the sworn affidavit be notarised?

Ur package look fine to me but dont send too much to get ur case be more complicated....

For India copirs of honeymoon booking, affidavit, flight tickets..etc...is not required......I didnt send any of these docs and got my approval without any RFE.......

Well..I dont think any of these docs is required at this stage....But still its entirely ur wish how u want to send....May be couple of family pics with wife and son would be enough to add in the package....Good Luck

Thank you Dew Drops for your response. What complications can be anticipated if I send in those documents?

I prepared the package as advised by an immigration software immigration pixie. That software had these items in the list supporting evidence of marriage. So I followed that.

Why do u think the case will become complicated? What might Uscis think?

And can I send the color xerox copies of the original birth certificates and passports etc are allowed and accepted by USCIS?

And are the copies of those certificates have to be notarised?

Thank you for replying... newbie here never filed I 130 before.

There r no complications if u sent all as mentioned but why to show more docs if ur case case can be good by sending just the docs that r required...but if u feel to send the docs as advised by immigration pixie then go for it...

U can send color copies of ur docs...

USCIS accepts just photocopy of documents...I don't know about notorized copies ..,,,so just do some research

Regular black and white copy is good. Thats a lot of documents you will be sending. Sorry nobody has time to read 300 pages on your married life.

04/21/2015 - NVC received Case

04/29/2015 - DS261 filled

05/02/2015 - Case under CSPA review

06/04/2015 - Supervisor review Initiated-Wait 42 days

Lol.. yes I agree with you completely they have lots of applications to go through and as you said they might not be interested reviewing all those documents.... Guess I will send the minimum amount of documents then...

Thank You guys will keep posting on my timeline as the case progresses and keep bugging you guys when ever I have a doubt.
