Tax Transcripts for submission with the I-134 Affidavit of Suppor

I understand that the petitioner is required submit a copy of his/her most recent income tax return form 1040 and W2 form etc. with the I-134 Affidavit of Support. I have "Transcripts" of my most recent income tax return from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. My question is, are tax transcripts acceptable for submission with the I-134 Affidavit of Support in place of a copy of my income tax return form 1040 and W2 form?

Yes, they are the official transcripts but add the W2 and pay stubs.

Yes they are, but as suggested include a copy of your W2 also. Pay stubs are not needed unless you are a new employee.

1) 2014 tax transcript

2) 2014 W2

3) 2015 pay stubs

4) letter of employment

Yup, also in China, they only looked at minimal information, but I'm this is case by case.

Therefore, it's always good to over-prep, and not have to show.

Sorry but I don't know what you mean by getting an updated divorce decree. You are probably asking if you fiancé should obtain a certified true copy of his divorce decree (certified and dated by the court clerk) from the court where he originally received his divorce decree. The k1 interview preparation instructions states that when at his/her interview k1 Applicant must submit proof of termination of previous marriages ie. divorce decree, Anullment etc. I am the petitioner and I had submitted photocopies of me and my fiancé's divorce decrees with my petition. The interview instructions does not specify whether the divorce decree must be the original, certified, nor a photocopy. So just to be on the safe side my fiance will be submitting a certified true copy of our both divorce decrees at her interview.

Good to have and be over prepared.

As long as there is originally submitted 'file stuffer' the subject will likely never come up 99.9% of the time, unless you are the unfortunate 00.1%.

Having or not having a 'certified' copy is really a non-issue.

Yes you need to submit another copy of the divorce decree to the embassy at your interview
