CEAC Status ---- AP

July 12 still waiting for Documents from joint sponsor

July 15--------------- will probably receive the documents via fedex

July 16----------------will probably send the documents to USEM by 2GO

Also, I forgot to mention I was asked to submit an I864a and proof of current sustained income from the petitioner. What are the documents to prove current sustained income? Petitioner is unemployed. Why asked for I864 from joint Sponsor and I864a from the petitioner at the same time?The Petitioner is not using asset and the joint sponsor is not a relative and not a household member. Do they really asked for both the I864 and I864a together? Thanks. Any comment from anybody please?

Yes they can and sometimes do ask for both 864 and 864a. The petitioner just needs to fill out the 864 completely.

Normal 221(g) processing from the time you send it to any type of movement on your ceac dashboard will be minimum 2-3 weeks. Relax... take a deep breath and gather your patience. This is a marathon not a race.

Ya this is sort of silly. Even after USEM receives the documents requested it can be upwards of a month before issuance. Patience is the best approach.

attach it to your file? Or they wait and put together all the 221g documents they received until they reach a certain time frame to open and review them? Any

Your probably looking at about a month. My wife's documents were received on June 23rd. She received a issued Monday and maybe she will receive the visa around Friday as I choose the Mall of Asia. Initially they entered it as a update when they received the documents and then it seemed like there was nothing happening as you can see from my timeline. Good Luck!
