Flight Date and Medical Expiration

8 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

Hello guys, Our medical exam result will expire on July 22,2015. Our status is already ISSUED but we don't have the visa yet. We're planning to book already a plane ticket because the price is still affordable. Can we book a flight on July 21,2015(PH time) and arrive in the US on the same date(July 21,2015)?

Shouldn't be a problem, but I personally wouldn't cut it so close.

Weather, maintenance, etc could cause a delay which could put your POE arrival after the med expiration date even though you've got a 1 day buffer now. Lots of coulds there so unless cost is a major determining decision maker why not give yourself a larger buffer?

It's an outreach forum that USEM uses to connect with those who have general questions about visa's issued from USEM on Facebook. The last one I believe was 2/4/2015. Link is here for USEM http://blogs.usembassy.gov/Philippines/ and the Facebook https://www.facebook.com/events/860840843966661/
