CEAC status tracker says 'at NVC' even after 12 days of case complete

Hi All,

CEAC status tracker says 'at NVC' even after 12 days of case complete.

Is this normal ? I have seen other timelines where 'at NVC' was changed to 'In transit' within 4 days of case complete.

We got a mail from NVC on 8th July asking us to wait for an interview date (case completed on June 30).

Can we call NVC and find out if our documents have been sent to the embassy ? Will they let us know about it ?

Your case doesn't change to In-Transit until you get a Interview. Are you Mumbai or New Delhi (please say Mumbai)?

No need to call NVC. Or are you an expedite? No they doo not let you know when they send your documents to embassy. You get P4 letter and you can then start checking the tracker. It will go from In-Transit when it gets to Embassy and checked in it will say Ready and you will have Status update. date.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.
Please Please put your VJ member name only. Not nicknames or real names whatever your VJ name is. It's below your profile picture!!

No P4 letter is the Interview letter. And Mumbai as I haven't heard August interviews yet. So they either haven't announced or they are full.

Most get the email but with all the issues they have had lately not surprised you didn't get it. It usually comes 7 days exactly after CC so you should have gotten 8th or 9th. But long as they verbally told you its good, to go.

I have addedyou to the spreadsheet Congratulations anyway. Now the wait for interview for Kingston.

I can't view the spread sheat i have to upgrade my browser. But is it that nvc takes 2months to know the interview date? Or the actual interview is in 2months?

For your embassy people are waiting 2 months from CC to get a interview. Its a wait.

So here's my situation... Submitted all the required docs to NVC back in May 8th and since I haven't received any response until today decided to call them. Well, turns out my parents cases were completed in June 8th and I had absolutely no clue about it. Haven't received any emails and NVC website didn't indicated any updates for some reason... They told me they are waiting for an interview to be scheduled by local embassy (Tbilisi, Georgia) and after that they will re-route the files to them... I've been reading some of you guys got your interviews scheduled within few days after cc so consider yourself happy because technically it's been more than a month for me and no interview date yet :) hopefully they will schedule it soon.

Good morning. I just have a few questions. I am a USC. My husband is Nigerian. We were approved for an expedite on our case and I checked the status of our case this morning and it reads "In Transit" From other information I read, my understanding is that our case file is on its way to the Consulate in Lagos Nigeria. My husband has not had his medical done yet. How soon should we expect to receive an update from the Consulate in Lagos? The last email we received from NVC stated that the case was approved for Expedite and that any further contact in regards to the interview should be directed to the Embassy/Consulate. When the consulate receives the documents will they send an email stating that he should go for his medical and will that email also have the date for his interview? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
