Could you elaborate? Why would you need a re-entry permit? How long will you be gone for?

05/22/06 - Biometrics scheduled (online update) and appt letter was mailed on 05/20/16 - Day 12

05/24/06 - Biometrics letter became viewable online (appt scheduled for 06/07/16) - Day 14

05/27/16 - Received Biometrics letter in mail - Day 17

05/31/16 - Was denied walk-in fingerprints with just 1 person left in line. Milwaukee office, boo! - Day 21

06/07/16 - Biometrics completed in Milwaukee, WI - Day 28

12/21/16 - Passed Citizenship test/Interview was successful! - Day 197

01/26/17 - I am a US citizen!!! - Day 233

it's possible, but you do need to be in the USA for your ROC appointments, so schedule your trip abroad carefully.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I Will Be outside of the USA for at least 7 months due to my husbands work. I thought it s safer to Apply for a reentry permit although it s less than 12 months.... I will Remove conditions in June since the GC will Expire in September and from October- April i will Be with my husband outside the USA. I Wonder when and how I should apply for the reentry permit Because all i will have is the expired GC and a letter from uscis that I removed my conditions on Time ...

You dont need a reentry permit. But as noted you need to make sure you can attend your ROC appointments.

ROC appointments won t be a Problem. During our Green Card process my husband worked in the USA. 8 months after I received my GC he got a job (in sports) overseas... So he is at least 7 months per year outside of the USA. For me as a Green Card holder it s kinda messed up. So I Thought a reentry permit could help the Situation for now. Not sure how often i can apply for one. Our homebase is in the USA of course.

If you are outside of the US for more than 1 year and less than 2 years, you will need re-entry permit.

N400

12/06/2014: Package filed

12/31/2014: Fingerprinted

02/06/2015: In-Line for Interview

04/15/2015: Passed Interview

05/05/2015: Oath letter was sent

05/22/2015: Oath Ceremony

how often can a Green Card holder apply for a ReEntry permit when the USC spouse works overseas (not military or government job) I heard from some People that they apply for a reentry permit for the Last 10 -15 years without any issues others say that it might be difficult to get a third or forth reentry permit...

2. if i stay for 7 months in the USA every year and 5 months abroad and keep doing this for a couple years, will my green card be in danger?
