Okay, so I've been avoiding the elephant in the room. My wife (the American) and I came back to U.S. as a visit and ended up staying a little over. By the time we decided we would AOS here as opposed back in Canada, it was time for me to go back. But in the last year of trying to get the packet ready, we kept having financial difficulties. I'd save, then we'd have an emergency and need to spend some of it. My f'ing car has been trying to get me deported for the last six months alone.

Anyway is Immigration gonna be real angry when this fact is revealed? Any suggestions? Clues? Hints? We've been married 8 years, have 7 year old daughter (born in U.S. actually), my wife is just terrified they'll deport me.
