So sorry to hear this happened to you. Sadly it's an all too common story but you can't help who you fall in love with.

I get that you're really angry right now but think smart- let him ROC and decide where ever he wants to live (Canada or US) either way child support will be enforced and your twins will be taken care of. If he is unable to ROC and is forced to go back to Jamaica, I'm sure Miss Canada will just file for him and it will be more complicated to track him down. What someone about collecting child support is possible but the rate of pay there is so much lower you won't be getting anything.

Don't fool yourself into thinking he will change - he won't. Pick yourself up and move on. Focus on the kids. You did nothing wrong and Karma will catch up with him eventually.

I also think he is not in the marriage because of GC because he can also apply for that in canada.

He is a player and cannot stay off women.

Child support is all you get after divorce and if he is deported i doubt if you can get it.

Don't allow the lady in canada and her child be the only one to enjoy husband/father unless you want to become a single mother with 2kid's.

Really? Does he really seem to be a prize to be "enjoyed"?

In what world is being a single mom w/ twins is worse that living with a cheater that's out here sleeping with other chicks w/o protection? What if instead of making a baby he had contracted HIV and brought it back to her?

Minimum wage in Canada is at least $10.50/he. $12.50 in some provinces. Even with the exchange rate it's still more than the national average in the USA.

I meant rate of pay in Jamaica.

Typical salary for a decent government job in Jamaica works out to about $450us per month after taxes.

He is not a price to be enjoyed and we are glad HIV was also not involved.

if

1. there is a tickbox on the ROC application indicating divorce. still on him to provide evidence on a bonafide marriage, covering a lot of financial comingling evidence.

2. if you presented a fraud casefile to a FDNS office at a local USCIS office, it's difficult to know when action will occur. might be one of the following:

__a. note made to be held for deportation - any immigration control point will detain him.

__b. note added to A-File stating the beneficiary exhibited extreme fraud and has no basis for removal of conditions. If/when he submits a ROC case, it will get denied during adjudication, as an adjudicator will read the A-File and the note in it.

1. Beside having twins what else does he need to prove bonafide. I mean there aren't any utility bills in his name, i did file him together on taxes because he wasn't employed enough to report income. he mostly has been staying with the twins for financial reasons.

proof of co-mingling of finances:

1. monthly utility bill statements in both names

2. joint bank account or accounts in both names

3. wills, payable upon death instructions

4. house deed or rental agreement in both names

5. medical insurance, life insurance, car insurance in both names

6. tax returns filed as 'married filing jointly'

that's the short list, but mostly what an adjudicator or IO looks at for the RoC stuff.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I get what you mean. If he is deported no doubt he will just immigrate to Canada. Ultimately, its about our kids. I know the hurt will fade one day, but the ones who will suffer are my babies. Thats what gives me the most grief. Dear ole Canada may think she has the upper hand and has enjoyed herself quite wel, but I know she isn't the only one in Canada either. You are all right he is a serial player and never will change. I just wish the pain would leave.

It was written on the wall 2 months into the marriage that he was a cheat.

Any decision you make kindly put your kid's interest first.Child support can never be supportive enough. Those of us that grew up without the support of both parent know how had it was for us. #mypersonview

You continue to say that she should try to get this scum bag back from the other woman. Why ?

So she can suffer for the rest of her life with his continued escapades ?

Kids need a father yes, we get that, they will have one with visitation but that does not mean she needs to be with him

because "she would be single with 2 kids." So what ?

She will be a strong woman who can handle this and won't need him and provide for her kids.

You make her and single women out to be these helpless victims and that attitude motivates men to continue to cheat, why should he stop

cheating because she needs him right ? That is just an absurd and weak viewpoint. Woman need to respect themselves and take a stand. Period.

I guarantee you that the kids will suffer more with them being together than being apart.

You don't just stay with someone who is a serial cheater because you feel you can't make it in life, what kind of advice is that !

You say HIV was not involved here but what on earth makes you think it won't be in the future along with other STD's ?

Seriously !

My opinion

Red flag 1 - Two months after we married, I discovered he had had a three week old baby. - But she choose to still stay with him and still have sex with him (She choose to risk her life with either HIV or STD).why didn't she leave then?

2 - we have a set of twin who are 9 months younger than their grand-daughter. - she became pregnant either few days after the Canadian child was born or weeks. why is he leaving now?
