Hi, I am in the middle of the K-1 visa process. We had already received the NOA1. We are waiting for the NOA2 to keep going. I am probably be able to get to the States around December. Once I am in the States, and legally married on the 90- day timeframe, can I travel again to my country for a couple of weeks without any problem?

No. You cannot leave until you get your EAD/AP combo card or the greencard after adjustment of status. If you leave without it, you wont be allowed back in. To come back in, you will have to file spousal visa then. The visa you came in with (K1 visa) will expire as soon as you enter the United States and is a 1-time entry thing.

You can always leave, coming back is the issue.

Welcome to the forum.

You seem to be a little confused about the K1 visa process. Review the K1 Flowchart: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

Good luck on your immigration journey.

You will need to apply for advanced parole. You can file for that and your employment authorization at the same time as your adjustment of status at no extra cost.

Wait for AP.

Ok, 6 months will be enough to get the AP??

Right now, it is taking about 2.5 months after you file for AOS to get your EAD/AP card. Assuming you marry and adjust for status within a couple months after arriving in the USA, you shouldn't have any problems.
