Can someone enlighten us about Visa Processing.. My husband and I got married on July, 2014 & decide to file it in US Embassy Manila. They required him at least to stay here for 6 months. We filed the I-130 petition for spouse last Feb. 17, 2015 and was approved April 14, 2015, USCIS informed us that they transfered

it in Visa Department. On May 08 we received thrrough mail the packet 3 with letter instructions from Visa Department dated April 15. Stating need to fill up DS260 and DS261 online, after DS260 completed submitted online and send them e-mail. but after the DS260 we cannot access the DS261 because of technical problem. Several times we try to phone the Visa Dept but no way you can talk to one of the people in Visa Dept. We send them e-mail inquiring what to do to fill out in DS261 and the status.. every week we followed up and the only replied they always gave us, that they are escalating the process of our papers. Do I really need the DS261 to fill it out? if yes how? it's been 2 months now that our papers is in Visa Dept., how long it takes bfore they gave notification for the interview?

PS.. we tried to contact the NVC about this they said they cannot access my case number and referred back to US Embassy Manila.

OP, I don;t think NVC can help you, as your case never was with them, since you filed directly with the embassy.
