This is just bizarre..my green card interview was scheduled for July 28th 2015, and I just got another letter saying due to unforeseeable circumstances interview for that date is cancelled. And you will receive some update soon.

Has this thing happened to anyone? Suggestions what to do?

Yes it does happen. Nothing to be worried about. It isn't because of your case. Just wait for the reschedule.

Hello,

The same thing happened to me. I also have my interview scheduled on the same date the same location and it just got cancelled a few days ago. After some online searches it seems the general consensus is to still go to the original interview. I wonder what the real reason was.

what was ur time of interview? and are you still going? And, does your online status has been updated to interview cancelled?

@katietw95 I can't remember the exact time... and yes my online status has been updated to interview cancelled. I'm still going, because according to other people, there are more risks not going to the interview...

I'm still debating whether to go or not. I hope we receive rescheduling interview dates before our original scheduled date.

Is there something about that date that we don't know about? I had my interview scheduled for July 28th as well and was cancelled.

Have you received a new schedule? I have not but I am going to appear for the interview anyway.

Same here!! Question though: would you go to the original interview? there's no point right?

Me too! Got the notification for Interview, August 25th! I'm still gonna attend the interview for July 28th in Atlanta, though.
