Hi I"m about to send my or file my petition for my parents, but I'm just confused. In my parents Marriage Certificate, my dads middle initial is wrong.

His middle name is "dela Cruz" and his middle initial supposed to be is "D" right? But in their marriage certificate its "C". But according to my Father before ,the right middle initial should be C thats why thats the one that his been using ever since. Would this be a problem for my petition? Can we just get an affidavit stating that its the same person? Please can you guys help me with this?thank you

You need to go back to your local civil registry file a petition and have it corrected

just get an affidavit. the most important thing is you have your fathers name in your birth certificate, that's enough proof that you are related.

Thanks guys! thats what I'm thinking right now to get an affidavit just incase they need it…. I'M just worried about my dads middle initial in marriage certificate. But aside from that everything is correct.

I think considering the language C makes sense here. You Should be fine.
