Timeline

Signed up for it today. But I can't find my case in the list. I assumed that my "Unique ID" would be the last 4 digits of my case number, but those digits do not appear in combination with the rest of my case number there. Am I wrong about the unique ID? Where can I find mine?

Hi Sarah - Sorry for the confusion, but the unique ID has nothing to do with the receipt number. It is an internal ImmiFairy number that is used to track petitions so you can see a case's progress in a timeline format. The larger the number, the later the receipt number was created (NOA1s in August 2014 have the smallest unique IDs, and NOA1s in 2015 have the larger unique IDs). I'll put this to the admin I know there and maybe they can add a key defining terms better so that people aren't confused. It is a bit confusing.

You can also post your questions directly in the forums at ImmiFairy.com, as there is always a moderator there ready to answer your questions. Just post a new topic!

@Lauren and Kevin... I would just like to add that this service is WAY better than the timeline function on VJ, just checked to verify. VJ tracks only ~1000 TSC I129F petitions that are user generated... so inherently flawed (IE lots of April and May NOA1s that are actually CSC). While ImmiFairy is tracking more than 10,000 real receipt numbers. There is no comparison really.

That sounds useful - certainly when we were tracking ours in the TSC using the App, it would have been useful to give this a trial - thanks for letting me know.

(I'm ignoring the hostile comment from StephanieC about not using the site, as I'm a professional software tester and website security tester, so her reaction to a site asking for money that was not completed and fully secure, would not be the same as mine)

I understand this will be a very useful resource and I hope it helps alleviate some of the stress of waiting - this is a great idea !!

I signed up a day ago and its a great site with 100% of the data.

I have been running a cuing theory data crunch on VJ data and while I get errors from: a) mislabeled CSC data in TSC data and b) changes in population of the sample of VJ data (it grows each day as people join).....

It is fairly close to the ImmiFairy trend and data in showing how many people have been processed. ImmiFairy is more accurate. But the VJ Sample is close and I think show the same trends. These observations from my VJ Data crunch of what I see today:

October and before is about done

November is in the last 10% (Back side of the curve)

December is in the last 20% (Back side of the curve)

January is about 1/3 done but is very active (front half of the curve)

February is beginning as they are the front edge of the "Bell Curve"

March is occasionally touched

April on does not Matter...they are all CSC.

Good Luck

8/24/2015: NOA2 Shipped to Department of State (DOS) - National Visa Center (NVC)
9/1/2015: NVC Received NOA2 Package and have assigned a Case Number!

9/28/2015: Medical Exam - Took 3 days... Cho Ray is a mess. Vaccinations delayed until passing Interview because of shortage of vaccinations in Vietnam
10/7/2015: Interview at Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and APPROVED!!!!
10/22/2015 K1 Visa in hand. Son's K2 visa only valid for 6 months (W-T-F-?) Thought good for 1 year. Inquire at consulate and told visa good only as long as the medical which is 6 months K2 VISAS NOT GOOD FOR 1 YEAR AS ADVERTISED ON DOS WEBSITE!
10/29/2015 POE Chicago; Easiest pass through for Linh in her 4 previous entries.
11/2/2015: Not tuned in enough to Social Security not to pick "the first day of the month" to try to get signed up. Read VJ advice, it's spot on, we had a processor who knew K1. We were in the SAVE database in 3 days so it was easy after a 2 hour wait.
11/21/2015: MARRIED IN GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

Hey Kyle and Linh - I don't VJ is close to the ImmiFairy data at all. Just look at the "Estimated Completed Percentage by NOA1 Month" graphs... It's way off on the VJ one: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=2&sortby=2 And all the month estimates you indicated is that from VJ? Because that is not at all what the ImmiFairy data shows either...

Have there been any updates on Immifairy on the progress in Texas? I know they were doing pretty well last week from what I have seen.

You've got to sign up directly on immifairy to get that info: http://www.immifairy.com/membership-account/membership-levels/
