Did you receive a document cover sheet with the AOS or IV invoice? If so, you're supposed to use that. I used the same address to send my documents.

Yes, but there is no address on my Document cover Sheet

I don't know if it's supposed to have an address on it, but it clearly mentions- "Please put this document cover sheet on top of your documents when you send them to us."

I believe as long as you use that cover sheet and send it to the address you posted, you should be good. That's what I did.

So I spoke to a lady at NVC today, I told her I was unable to log in and pay IV fees. She said I should hold off paying fee by mail because Deapartment of State in DC is planning to have the system fully available next week like it used to be few months back. She asked me to mail the documents however.

Hello everyone!

Question: My hsband (petitioner and sponsor) changed address in the US. Should we notify USCIS or NVC? or both? how?

We are now at NVC (Scan Date June 8), waiting for the IV fee to open to pay and complete DS260.

What do you think?

Just start using the new address on the DS-260. Then mention at the interview that he's got a new address; they may update the I-864.

As long as NVC has your email addresses on file, everything they send should be emailed. If not, hopefully your husband set up mail forwarding, so he'll get anything at his new address anyways.

New month, new hope. Waiting for my CC. I called today and it still hasn't been reviewed, my case got flagged for review June 16th. I turned in my DS260 May 4th. Been at NVC since Feb 27th (thats's when I got my case number from a rep on the phone). My original Scan date is March 25th. I hope they catch up with the backlog soon. Sending good vibes to everyone!!!

I went into supervisor review on the same day as you - June 16th. Scan date May 8th. I called yesterday and the rep put me on hold while she spoke to a supervisor. The supervisor said she could see that my case was 'way overdue for review' and that she would make sure it was done ASAP. When I asked her to be more specific in terms of how much longer, she couldn't tell me. Tomorrow NVC will be closed, so I will call again on Monday.

Ha! I think that's what they did to me, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put back into the hold queue you get at the beginning :D

Was unable to speak to a supervisor however a very friendly operator (I think her name was Daisy) spoke with her manager and said they were going to review the case on Monday/Tuesday next week.

Could easily have been something just to get me off the phone, but will call a week tomorrow and see.

Exactly the same thing happened to me yesterday. When she told me again that she had no idea how much longer it would take, I burst into tears (couldn't help it, how embarrassing). The rep was very sweet and tried to reassure me that it would be done soon, but I was beyond the ability to talk at that stage so I just said thank you and goodbye, and hung up. I feel sorry for anyone who isn't 100% emotionally, mentally or physically. You have to be made of stone/steel to get through this process in one piece.

how do i know my scan date? is date the date nvc receive the document i mailed to the or what , will appreciate some help here :)

On the letter you got from the NVC, it says they received your documents on XXX date - that is your scan date (NOT the date on the top of the NVC letter, which is just the date they sent the notice to you), but the actual date they say they received your documents.

It's very rough, you shouldn't feel embarrassed for crying though, totally understandable :)

sorry to hear MrsBrook, I had my breakdown monday when I was printing out everything to send to hubby so he has a copy of everything when the interview comes, the whole folder disappeared without any error or anything, i broke down. I had to recollect all documents and redo all of it, luckily this time it was quicker as i had them in multiple places and i store most of them in an online secure vault. They just needed to be reconsolidated.

hang in there ..... we all have to stay strong.
