NVC processing times question

Hi, our I129F was approved on June 2nd, I finally received a letter from USCIS on June 13th that the case was forwarded to NVC for processing (Moscow, Russia destination). It has been almost a month and I have not heard anything from NVC at all. Should I worry or is this still within normal processing timeframe for NVC? The letter says the email is the preferred method of inquiry. Any other advice on how to go about checking the status before I send an email inquiry about our case? Thank you in advance!

We got our I-129F NOA2 approved June 4th and the letter a few days latter. You can call NVC at 603-334-0700 and see if they have received your case from USCIS. If so, you can ask for the NVC Case #. Be perpared to get a busy signal and keep hitting redial. Our case was finally received at NVC on June 26th. So I am guessing your case is still probably within the normal processing time.

NVC normally takes 4-5 weeks maximum to assign case number. So, I hope you will get your case number assigned within this or next week.

Still waiting for further progress although I was finally able to get through to NVC and get a case number. Was told that it is in que to be processed and no further info. I assume that if there is a case number all is good? It has been almost 5 weeks now since NOA2 starting to worry!
