Passport question

Hello,

I have my Citizenship interview in a couple weeks, but I just realized that my passport is expired (I don't travel much). Will this be okay to bring to the interview? Or do I need to renew it before going to the interview? I would think its okay because they are just looking for the proof of my entry into the states...I called USCIS and they didn't know...directed me some other place but no luck there either...any kind of input would be greatly appreciated!! thank you.

You do not need a valid passport at the interview. You GC should be valid and you need your state-issued ID (DL). Do bring your passport just in case they want to look at your travel records. Since you say you don't travel much, I doubt that will even happen, but bring it just in case.

Good luck at the interview.

This would be okay. Just bring your expired passport, and there is no need to renew it.
