On CEAC site down, stuck at NVC and reasons to expedite...

Hi Y'all..

The CEAC site has been down for us since we received the fee invoices from our lawyer.
Two weeks and we are still unable to pay fees online. We don't want to pay by mail because it has not proven to be a solution to the site being down for some people. They pay by mail and are still unable to fill DS260.

A couple of weeks ago about the termination of my employment coming Jul 24th. My original plan when I learned that was to go back to visit my husband and wait the process out, but with these delays and issues I really am hesitant about being without a job for longer than 4 months.

What if the NVC stage holds months and months wait for us as it did before, at USCIS? I have been exploring opportunities in other business units for the company I work for (it is a tight industry to it would be hard to move away from it, at least while I am in Mexico). I have lined up a couple of jobs I am interested in and I have been asked to submit my resume and follow the process... things are looking up.

Sooooooooo... I just want to ask you...

If I were offered a new job in the company I work for (but in the US), do you think this would be a valid reason for expedite at NVC stage? I know expedites are usually health emergency related, but I have seen a couple based on financial hardship. If my not accepting a good job offer impacts the USC financial situation... would this work?
