Checked our status today and it says ISSUED, but the fine print below has me puzzled. Why if it says issued does it says my visa is currently undergoing AP?

Issued
Immigrant Visa Case Number: Case Creation Date: 17-Apr-2014 Status Updated Date: 25-Jun-2015
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.

Please note: Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. Also, some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

We got exactly the same update today, with "Issued" and the admin processing text, also with Montreal... Please do update if you get any more information!

I am sure congratulations are in order. Ready means the ap is done but the documents are not printed. Issued means they are printed.

That does seem odd, I assume you got a 221g right after your interview and it took a while to process.

I think you will get some emails explaining the status change early tomorrow

Update:

I looked at the print screen I sent my wife the day we moved to issued and the verbiage was identical to yours. I think it updated itself overnight. We had our package in hand within 4 days.

na, each casefile is bundled up into that 'do not open' packet, the visa foil stamp is generated and put into the passport, plus some internal tracking stuff has to be done.

so, think of it as 'I'm in a new queue' with more to follow until it actually is picked up by the courier and headed to you.

there really are about 5 more queues internally there after the 'issued' tag is seen in CEAC portal. don't fret.

and don't confuse 221(g ) with administrative processing at this point in time.

m'kay? can? if no, I call yer Mom, ask for 40 kilos of frozen poutine gravy to be shipped to me.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Hi jayjayhas,

I have the same situation, ceac status changed to ISSUED on the 25th with an administrative processing message, then the message changed to "Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than five (5) working days, please go to http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_courrier_informationto track your courier waybill." on the 29th.

I am still waiting for the email from Loomis.

Hopefully we will get it soon!

Hi BrandiDixon!

Aghh... I just want to get that email from them. Under my Issued I had the following. I dont believe I had the AP messaging that some had:

Status Updated Date: 26-Jun-2015
Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than five (5) working days, please go to http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_courrier_information to track your courier waybill.
Whats also frustrating is when I go to this website which is the same one I used for scheduling loomis and confirming my appointment nothing on that site has been updated so makes me really nervous! Is yours updated or changed? it still on that site for me says the following:
Current Status
Appointment
Consular Appointment16 June, 2015
