Pay Another IV fee or wait

I paid the IV fee by mail on may since it wasn't showing up. Still says pay now eventho I have received an email and a letter on June 9th saying the payment has been received for my case. Just wondering if i should pay another fee to see if that goes thru for me to fill out the DS260 or still do the waiting game.Always getting frustrated on what steps to take to get the DS260 to pop ip

We are having the same issue, it's really frustrating, I pray and cry myself to sleep every night , I pray it normalized soon., have a nice day.

Don't pay it again. We were in the same situation. We waited and waited and then it just showed up one day. Just keep checking everyday. We got our letter and had to wait maybe a month or so before we could fill out the DS-260

I waited almost two months it never showed paid I paid it online again unlocked and went to paid the next day . Ds260 done as well .

just requested it on Monday as it went through on Friday . Nothing is quick with them so it's going to take a little time for them to open the email and so on .

So basically if you mail in the payment for AOS or IV you have to wait 2 months or more to be able to fill out the DS-260?

This entire process is completely broken.

I have no issues with the website. I was able to login, fill out the DS-261 and pay the AOS fee, no problem.

Not sure why it has to be so difficult for the IV Fee and DS-260. It should only take a few days and it is turning out be months, ridiculous.

I called NVC the other day and asked this question. They told me its their system that is preventing users to access DS-260 and that it is highly unlikely that paying fees again would allow access to DS-260. I even contacted our local Congressman to try and push information out of them but EVERYONE keeps telling me there is nothing to do but wait. I called again last night and the lady I talked to said to try checking back beginning of next week, they're hoping the issue will be resolved soon.

actually paying the fees again has worked for several of us including myself. If you can access it online that's the big issue for a lot of people .

you know, I think I might try that. I've been waiting for over a month now to access DS-260 application. Have you heard anything about if the NVC has been issuing refunds for those paying twice?? Thanks for your input.

they told me it's possible and how to request it, which I did so just Monday but we all know how slow they are at things so I'm not getting impatient over that right now, if your fee online gives you the option to pay it a few of us went ahead and did it me being the tester to take the risk paid it on a Thursday morning, went to paid Friday the very next day and filled out the ds260 that evening, so it was a one day process, same outcome with a few others so it wasn't just me getting lucky either . Nvc has it in their system also called Monday to make sure so there wasn't any questions as to if they get it either .

Thank you so much for all the information. I just paid my fees for a second time, I hope I can access my DS-260 application tomorrow afternoon as well. And seriously, thank you for being the tester. I wouldn't have been brave enough to do that. My IV Fees have stated "Pay Now" for like 3 weeks now (originally paid via mail first week in May) but I hadn't worked up the courage to try it.
