Hello all!

I just got back to the US after visiting my fiancee in his country, now I'm getting the paper work ready to send my I-129F application.

One thing I cannot seem to figure out (and maybe it's right under my nose) why do I send a check/money order to USCIS? And where do I go to find more information on that such as how much I send and etc. ?

Again maybe this is very obvious, but I'm not able to figure it out.......

Thank you!

Christy

It's the same for everyone and it's in the instructions for the forms, price and who to make it out to. We pay them because they are sustained soley off the fees gathered from us, they get no budget from the governement.

Wonderful. Thank you! @NancyNguyen :)

So is the filing fee amount the same for everyone?

No problem, please read guide carefully, make yourself a checklist. When you finish one thing with readproofs, check it. Do step by step until you finish then you are ready to send out. Feel free to ask when you need help. Good luck.
