Hi everyone,
New to the site, just signed up today.
How accurate do you guys think, are the processing times posted on this site?
I've been looking at the dates changing every day, and now is 5 days past my PD( January 23), and still nothing on my I -130.
I called USCIS last night and spoke to a immigration officer, he told me Nebraska is working on applications from December 16, so 30 some days behind our case.
Still they have 5 months as a current processing time, and I guess they are processing applications with later then mine PD, if ppll are posting it to their timelines.
How does it work exactly, and which info should I consider, USCIS or the personal time lines posted here.

Thanks !!!

Hello loveisblessing, you should only take this info as a reference, you have a long road ahead and patience is a virtue. Both uscis and nvc are obscure and will not tell you exact times, it helps calling them to ease you anxiety, you should base your time frame from a combination of both visajourney and uscis but nether will tell you when you are going to be approved. In my case, with nothing wrong on my forms, it took 6+ months. But many other people passed right by. Keep calling until you can finally be allowed to put your case to a tier 2 supervisor. But hopefully you will get approved before you need to. It is said that after 5 months you can get this option but uscis will do everything they can to keep you guessing. my thoughts to you is to be patient and keep your mind out of this as best you can. You will get your notification soon. Best of luck.
