I just spoke with the human resources department of the company I work for and was told they no longer provide letters of employment verification. I explained what I needed it for but was told the same thing. I need some advice; is it an option to send my affidavit of support to my fiancé without the employment verification letter? We are using a co-sponsor since I don't meet the income requirements of 125%. The co-sponsor will be providing a letter of employment verification.

I can't answer if it's "ok" or not...but maybe just make sure you include as many pay-stubs from your job as you can, all the way up to the date of your interview so that they can clearly see you're employed. Did you ever receive an offer letter from the employer when you started? If so, maybe you can use that, along with all your pay stubs to show how long you've been working there, and that you still work there. Will your employer write any kind of letter saying they do not provide that information? If not, then I would definitely write a letter yourself and explain why you can't get that information. Good luck!

Yes, the employment letter is not a must, it's optional. If u have tax returns of the last 2 years and other papers then there's no problem.
