Just on CNN!

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I heard this early this morning, but that wasn't the main focus, and no, it wasn't CNN.

Still hoping Banal Barry can embrace his whiteness, and soon !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

He was talking about racialism, one of the commentators implied that he was the first President since Nixon to use it, also comments were made that it is OK to use it in the right context.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/22/politics/barack-obama-n-word-race-relations-marc-maron-interview/index.html

Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama used the n-word during an interview released Monday to make a point that there's still plenty of room for America to combat racism.

"Racism, we are not cured of it. And it's not just a matter of it not being polite to say *** in public," Obama said in an interview for the podcast "####### with Marc Maron."

"That's not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It's not just a matter of overt discrimination. Societies don't, overnight, completely erase everything that happened 200 to 300 years prior."

“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” – Coretta Scott King

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

I never said I would. Lots of words I never use.

You quoted the President and all VJ showed were ###########.

Should VJ do that to Presidential remarks?

How public could this use be?
