Hi,

Does anyone know how i can pay my I-129F if i don't have a check or money order? I have been living in the UK (from the states) for a few years now and don't have an american checkbook. I've tried calling the embassy as well as email and nobody has been any help. The instructions on the I-129F say to contact these places but those establishments sent me right back to the USCIS website. Basically i need to figure out how to pay for the I-129F from the UK where i still live. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You

Welcome to the forum.

Mail your I-129F packet to a friend or relative in the US. Ask them to write a check for the amount of the visa petition fee, make arrangements to settle up with them. Have them then mail your visa petition packet to the USCIS lockbox location.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Review page 6 of the I-129F instructions: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf USCIS is very definitive on how they want those form fees presented to them for payment. If your proposed payment scheme meets their criteria, go for it. If not, then it is time for "plan B."

The method I previously mentioned has been successfully used by other similarly-situated VJ members as yourself.

Something to keep in mind throughout your immigration journey is that it is their (USCIS) ball game, their playing field, their rules.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
