Question about sending in my I-129

I will say at this point the one answer is correct. get a certified copy of your mail/copy everything in before you send it out/ and after you receive your case #, write it on all papers in the upper right hand corner. make sure if you get an RFE (request for evidence) that that receipt (case number) is on every paper you send to USCIS and to NVC later (BTW NVC will send you new case # after they receive it)

I will suggest one thing, for a few dollars, you can get a "postal approved" padded envelope.

To me this is very valuable, and I would not put in just a plain yellow envelope, it can get busted apart so easily.

Think of the time, and effort, do not trust it to a plain envelope.

I paid about 4 dollars for a padded very secure envelope, what would have to be cut to get into it.

Is just a suggestion.

Ill get one of those priority envelopes. I just wasnt sure if the pakket needed to be in an envelope for them to keep track of.

And i have every page copied!
