Question about sending in my I-129

So i want to send my I-129 tomorrow. Do i just staple everything together? I just in a regular yellow envelope? Sorry if these are silly questions. Ive read everywhere and cant find the answers. Im getting nervous about sending in.

Don't staple it together, they have to scan everything into a computer and that means they'll have to remove the staples. You wouldn't enjoy that much all day every day and I doubt they do. Use paperclips.

It states on their site specifically not to use staples.

There are a number of ways to put it together. I used acco fasteners and a large binder clip to hold everything together. I do believe they prefer that you not use staples or anything that may be "difficult" to remove/take apart.

As for the envelope, I don't particularly think it matters. You might want to look into getting your mail certified or with tracking though! Most would say that's unnecessary but it gave me peace of mind. Your local post office should be able to help you with what's best.

I used a paperclip for multiple pages of sections: the I-129f form, my g325a and picture, his g325a and picture, proof of relationship. Just use a cover letter and put everything in the same order as your cover letter.

I didn't use anything. I just put it all in a stack in the envelope.

No staples whatsoever. Paperclips or paper clamps.

If you're using an e-notification form clip that to the front. Passport photo(s) to the corresponding G325A(s) should be put in a labeled baggy and clipped to each matching form. Cover letter should go under the e-notification form, the check should be clipped to the I-129F. After all those forms, we then stacked the other requirements and evidence in order and clipped together when needed. When completely compiled we used ACCO paper clamps on the whole stack to keep it secure. I'm sure some people put photographs in a baggy or just on a photo page, but we put each photograph (labeled the backs) in a clear photosheet and also clipped that together.

Now that youve mentioned it, i remember reading not to staple it together. I did staple the ziploc bag (with pic in it) to the form. I read on this site to do that >.< the rest i will seperate with paperclips though. This is all so overwhelming. Ive been preparing for 6 months & ive triple checked everything, but it feels like im still missing something.

I will ask the post office to add tracking. Thanks!

Two hole punch at the top and fasten together with an ACCO binder...this method is appreciated by the USCIS.

Hey, please double and triple check everything you're including, and even though it isn't specifically mentioned, USCIS will expect to see a letter of intent to marry from both parties!!!

Also, I suggest FedEx (or parcel specialists) for sending your package and any responses necessary, and yes totally agree about using paperclips and binder clips ONLY!

I have a cover letter, both G235 forms, both passport pics, both letters of intent, the i-129 petition, boarding passes, pictures of our house that we lived in together, and pics of me, him, & our daughter throughout our relationship the past 3 years.

Not true, paperclips are perfectly fine. Staples are not

We used a display a4 book, that way u don't have to staple anything, and will use the same for my interview since I read a lot they appreciate well organised forms.
