I just go full out black face. It gets me all sorts of free stuff. Obviously credibility isn't an issue for me.

I wonder how many of us are transgender.

Is there any other way to go on a Friday afternoon after a 3 beer lunch?

I wonder how many of us are transgender.

Wouldn't it depend on how you're feeling at that moment?

Made me laugh.

I assume your thought process was, "Screw it! I've been called racist enough times, I'm gonna say something funny and post a picture of a guy in black face."

I bet I'm the only one who'll admit laughing. Does that make me racist?

Did the US have the equivalent of the Black and White Minstrel Show?

Prime TV backs in the 60's.

I really didn't think that much about it, it's a joke. I don't believe it was in bad taste, I certainly don't mean to offend anyone.

Blackface has been used regularly here without incident. One poster had a blackface as his avatar for quite a while. I don't believe the mention of blackface alone carries any racist annotations.

But yes, you laughing at it definitely makes you racist.

What is even sader is that in this day and time you would have to be of a certain race to qualify for something.

Of course that's not racism is it because of some titled playing field bizarre rationalization. More PC madness fuelING racism

On the other hand being black is such a great gig now , even white folks are pretending to be black "obvious Marvin bait comment " lol

Just got out of the hole.

Yep. There have been white leaders of NAACP branches in the past. Blackwashing oneself to get more credibility only serves to undermine that credibility. As the saying goes, the truth will out.

How utterly pathetic.

The fact that she felt entitled to short cut her way through 400 years of oppression is the most insulting thing about this. You can't be an advocate for black people while replacing them. You don't choose what race you are born, no matter who you 'identify with or like", and lie about your entire life to get a leg up.
That she had the blatant audacity to claim an experience that wasn’t hers is disgusting. No different than that lunatic that branded herself a 9/11 survivor, or the rotten lowlifes wandering around panhandling, wearing military uniforms they have no right to wear.
This creature taught a class entitled " The Struggle of Black Women'? What would she know about that?! I hope that the various police departments where she made false reports about racist actions against her have a little look at the files. She is nothing more than a liar and a cheat. DNA test her, and get her into therapy. She's as mad as a hatter.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I was going to say something, but your post pretty much sums it up. There's nothing wrong with being a different ethnicity and trying to advocate for another race of people. But be honest about it. What she did was underhanded and dirty.

You could also look upon her as being a trail blazer for the trans gender movement.

No. Absolutely not. There is no transgendered person who would ever say this and there is absolutely no relation.

What is the difference? Transracial may be a better term, who knows if in years to come Trannies will be seen to encompass race and gender.

The difference is that there is a biological precedent for intersex conditions, of which transgendered people may be a part. Also, 'trannies' is offensive.
