The amount differs from state to state but for my state that is the requested 2016 increase - the highest I found was Tennessee with a request for over 36% requested premium increases for 2016.

On top of that the amount the average person has to pay before benefits have kicked in has doubled in the last three years.

I hope nobody thinks the healthcare reforms were a success, this is utter failure.

Under affordable care, the plan deductibles are fixed, this is just talking about premium increases for those plans, I have seen higher.

You have seen higher what? In two years we went from the highest ever in the history of human civilization to that plus 50% - and *my* deductible is double what it was two years ago..

Is that really what you expected? Is that what the promise was? Do I need to go back and get video after video of Obama saying that health care costs are too high and need to be contained? is 10 times inflation considered contained to you?

As far as I am aware the extent of cover has not changed, so you must be outside the ObamaCare edict.

I had always assumed that those most keen to sign up would have disproportionate medical needs and that the premiums would escalate, one follows the other.

Affordable Care was not about keeping costs down, there may have been some aspects at the margins, lower reimbursement rates and profit margins, but they would be marginal.

One would think, that seeing as they hate the Obama care so much, they would have an alternative ready and waiting. Strange, isn't it?
