Visa Approved! But still no word on it.

Hi hanniel i do understand what you are saying but the updates do means that someone is working on the case because i got an email from my embassy on 15/06 saying that my case was in administrative review which should be completed within 5 business days and on the 19/06 the status was updated and changed from Ready back to AP i believe the glitch is causing it not to say issued at this time with all that been said i believe each time the status changed someone looked at it just praying and hoping for the best right now and for the system to be up and running pretty soon hopefully this coming week as is reported............BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE.

actually it is very unreasonable to schedule a flight without a visa at hand. So many things have gone wrong. Even if your visa had arrived on time you would not have been able to go if, for example,

Unfortunately that is why they say to never make any travel plans/book flights until you have your visa in hand. You can never be sure when you'll get your visa, they can only give you an estimate.

Hi annstew, are you able to give your embassy a call? Or do they answer your questions if you do? Try not to worry too much about the case status. Afterall, we had our interview almost a month ago and our status remains "Ready" for the interview. It will come through just as soon as possible! Good luck to you as well!

Hey AMProductions yes they answer my calls and emails like the following day anyway i am trying to stay calm at this moment it's hard but i need to...Question though since the day of your interview your case has been saying Ready no changes ???????? Anyway we are all on our way to the love of our lives i have not seen my baby almost a year now and can't wait to be in his arms the wait is killing me lol all the best yourself....

Yes, that's exactly right. We were approved on May 21st, and since then our case status has remained 'Ready' for the interview we already completed. It is difficult to be away from your loved one for so long. I've been here in Peru with my wife and son for three years now and haven't seen my family in the states since I came here, nor have they met my wife or son! But we just have to remain positive and hope that the visa comes through as soon as possible!

Hoping for the best i do understand your situation but i believe this coming week will be our time to celebrate just being real optimistic here lol

Hi my visa was issued and given to dhl on friday also picking it up today and congrats to you AMProductions have you heard anything let us know please Chrisshie123 congrats again have a great life with your hubby

I had my interview on the 18th and it still shows Ready for interview, but the date has been changed twice, once on the interview day and again on the 24th....

Hey don't worry, if you were approved you will get your visa. It's just a matter of time. I'm still stuck in the waiting boat myself, and my wife's interview date was the 21st of May.
