Food Stamps - Not appreciated, but expected

There will always be some form of abuse, no matter the program, but the abuse of the food stamp program is nothing compared to how corporations, farmers, government contractors milk the system. It's politically easy for politicians and our media to focus on food stamp abuse, which is why politicians go after them so much.

Not sure it's a feel good story, but there are folks who abuse the system who aren't playing the race card as you so eloquently put it.

There are a lot of comments here, but none begs the question of why the poster of this post felt the need to post this non-sense? Someone felt the need to ask why to we criticize the media for reporting such things, for instance this is Fox News who blatantly disrespects the president of the United States! And I'm not making excuses for the people in the video but I don't know their story either! The poster of this post said when he was hungry he went and got a job well hurray for you! You should be writing several books on how leeches can succeed ? Soooooo let me know when the instance your skin is black and the interviewer of the job you applied for has the same blantant digust because of your skin color and doesn't hire you thus leaving you with little options to feed yourself ?

I had assumed that Clayton County was one of the poorer counties in the South that tends to be black-dominant. If you look, they do exist and it's largely due to the fact that segregation used to be the law and so there are still communities that are almost all black and, thanks to centuries of racism, poor.
