hi guys my name is Grace...and i arrived here in US last May 29... It's my first time to be here in the Land of The Free...my husband and i are living here in Wellington Ohio... i'm kinda wondering if there's a Filipino Community out herein my area... I've got no friends here for now and I don't go out that much... it's a new world for me out here...and i am trying to find some people whom i can make friends with and basically can talk to in my own filipino tongue... thanks.

Ask your husband to drop you off at Oberlin college each day on his way to work,

and wander around a bit - you should find some folk there , then get into the international student admissions office and ask for a 'Welcome to Oberlin' packet, with the idea that the 'asian markets' are listed in the packet.

failing all of that, do you have continuous access to a pc with internet access? if yes, get to google.com and use these search terms:

'wellington ohio asian market'

but i really don't see anything IN Wellington... you prolly want to drive around a bit , a 40 mile radius. At some point, stop into a Catholic Church. Talk with the parish priest, ask him where the Filapino congregations meet up.
