Man Decides World's Busiest Airport Is A Good Place To Openly Carry A Loaded AR-15

Because folks have been conditioned to be afraid of an ar 15 I can see it not a wise choice to carry one in an airport . However he is within his rights to do so . That is the point he is making .

If the headline had been "Man walks into airport with AR, killed by police" I would have thought "Well yeah, he walked into an airport with an assault rifle, what did he expect to happen?"

You mean in the same way you've been conditioned to be afraid of Muslims and black people?

...and some others conditioned to be afraid of the police.

If a person of any color or religion attacks me, I can defend myself and the cops will arrest them. They might not do a whole lot of time, but that's a whole other rant. And considering the folks here that carry even in the shower, they will have no issues killing them if they even think there's a whiff of trouble.

If a police officer decides to attack me, what recourse do I have? Only two choices. Either ride it out and pray he doesn't kill me, or fight back and get killed. Even if it's on tape, cops get acquitted of beating or killing black men based on the I feared for my life defense.

So yes, I'm wary of police encounters. Because it's been shown time and time again, they can kill you legally and then blame your family, your fiance, or anyone else close to you for your own death. Just ask that poor dude who was beaten bloody and then charged with the heinous crime of bleeding on the cop's uniform.

I actually know someone who used to trawl the lost luggage area of JFK, and pick up French women in distress, offering rides into Manhattan in his limousine.

However, even he didn't resort to using a gun to get his wicked way!!!

Wait wait wait

I thought it was picking up Ukrainian women in Prague by taking their bag and saying, "Follow me"?

People carry all the time at airports . Stay in the area open to the public . Just don't try to take it past a security check point... I have carried mine hundreds of times over the years picking someone up at the terminal ..

Hundreds of times picking people up? Cab driver?

It's the American way of life. Blame a who group for the actions of a few.

Honestly, this dude is a threat to society anytime you think you need an AR to go to the freaking airport to drop someone off.

The police were following him. Does that not give them a right to attack them. I mean I have heard you say manyany times if someone is following you have a right to be scared and attack

I agree . He was trying to prove gun rights but he hurt the. By being a fool if he really was worried about his safety he should have concealed carry. He was asking for trouble.

So what if 100 people showed up with assault weapons would that be cool. How quick could the bust thru security and nab a plane.

They could bust through security quickly. This is a terrible idea. I'm sure the terrorist were cheering when the idiots approved this student law.
