I'm sorry I don't know which topic to post this in but I'm feeling so desperate to talk to anyone. I applied for my fiancé last year and am still waiting. He can't get here and I cannot visit him in his country. I haven't seen him in over a year and I'm starting to wonder how we can even get married.

We are planning to meet up in a third country to get married/live for a while. I am trying to get a job as a teacher in some place like Dubai, Turkey, or Malaysia. Have any Pakistanis had luck getting visas to visit these places? I'm hoping he can at least visit me so that we can get married and then we can figure out staying long term.

I'm just not settled in U.S. I lost my job. I can't afford a place to live. I don't want to be in the U.S. Anymore. I want to get married and be with my husband. Being apart from him is just killing me and I can't wait one more day for this visa.

Any advice on which countries Pakistani citizens can travel to easily and we would be able to get married in would be so very much appreciated. I feel so lost.

you posted to the right place, dont worry.

and I am so sorry to hear that you are still apart from your fience. For a pakistani it is relatively easy to get a visa to Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Malaysia either for work or Visit but you should check with their immigration laws to see if he can get married legally while on work/visit visa. secondly, being an american citizen it wont take long for you to find a job, especially with teaching skills. I am sure you all i can do is to pray for you...###### Luck

You are banned from Pakistan?

Why?

I really wish I knew why but I've now been denied two tourist visas in the past 6 months. The consulate I applied from won't even reply to my emails.

If you qualify to teach English, many Asian countries, like China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.

have ton of English teaching jobs in both private and public school, and you can also do

private teaching on the side as well. These jobs are fairly easy to find.

The pay can be $20k to $60k per year (plus side income from private tutoring),

depending on your education and experience, and which country you work in.

I've had such a hard time with the one in Houston that I just don't want to deal with them anymore. They are worse than USCIS.

Yeah my fiancé was just worried about getting a job there. We thought it might be easier for me to get a job first and then he can get there and look for job.

Well I'm American Muslim revert. Nobody else in my family is Muslim. I've never been married before. No kids or anything like that. Same for my fiancé. He's from Pakistan. Never married no kids. Just the two of us.

If he can get a job in Dubai, then the two of you can get married their rather easily. Then you can apply to live there if he meets certain income requirements. Does he have a sponsor for him to visit Dubai?

Best thing I would thinks is that he needs to network to look for someone that will sponsor him for a visitor visa. That should let him in once for three months. There are job search sites (http://www.indeed.ae) that he can try for also. Remember, it's not just Dubai. Look at the other emirates too; especially Abu Dhabi.

For your part, focus on looking for replacement employment. Being out of work is painful and that pain added to the pain of separation is making your emotions worse. You don't have power over the situation, but do what you can. Stay focused and stay in contact with each other too.
