OK So Hello

My Auntie is gonna bring up my cousin she makes like 16k a year and have 2 other kids if she find a Co Sponsor it just have to be for my cousin the one she's bring it over or for her whole family of 4 counting her and the 2 kids and my cousin??

This someone is wrong.

A sponsor has to prove that they can support the beneficiary as well as their own family.

16k is no way near enough, she would need to earn for a family of four which is 30, 312.

yea the only way that she would have to prove she only had to support herself and the cousin would be if she had no kids. But that isn't the case.

I want to move this to the correct forum. The K-1 fiance(e) visa forum is definitely not the correct one for this topic.

As to the question, you must meet the requirement for your own household size plus the intending immigrant, and not just have enough for the immigrant alone. For sponsorship, there would never be only a household of 1. There is always at least 2, yourself plus the immigrant. In this case it sounds like the aunt plus 2 other kids and now this makes a 3rd child and a household of 4. If she is married, then the spouse would make 5.

How to count household size >

Your household size includes yourself and the following individuals, no matter where they live: any spouse, any dependent children under the age of 21, any other dependents listed on your most recent Federal income tax return, all persons being sponsored in this affidavit of support, and any immigrants previously sponsored with a Form I-864 or Form I-864 EZ
