203 A2A INA SPouse of LPR - I file for adjustment of status of my wife last May 12, 2015 after 3 weeks I received a letter for uscis stating that the preference classification of my wife is 203 A2A INA Spouse of LPR. How it takes to process this case? Need advice please

Spouses of LPRs cannot adjust status unless their priority date is current.

It will take more or less 2 years before her priority date becomes current and if she wants to AOS she must have authorized stay (valid visa) in the US.

Are you due for naturalization any time soon?

What visa is your wife in? Bear in mind that overstays are not forgiven for relatives of LPRs.

She came here to visit, just needs to return before her permitted time expires.

Her 10yr tourist visa will still be valid. Don't let her overstay. Did the immigration stamp her with a date when she's supposed to leave? She must fly back on that date.

She's suppose to leave last May 18, 2015 she doesn't leave because we're waiting for the adjustment of status that we file. And then there's a letter came that stating regarding the category classification saying that my spouse is in the category of 203 A2A Ina spouse of LPR. What will do now?
