So our NOA2 turned up around 17-18 days ago. The lady in my life has tried to phone the NVC phone number listed on here but only gets a automated message saying lines are busy and to call back. She has tried the DOS number pressed pressed 1 then 0. She was told it was for Non Immigrant Visa's so she called it a day.. Now Im thinking "Hold up maybe I'm a non immigrant" as the K1 only last for 90 days after you arrive... Am I right in thinking this or is there a easier way of getting the LDN case number :clock::crying:

Call the 0700 number. Keep redialing until you get a chance to "hold", then prepare to hold for longer than 1/2-hr... I just went through the whole ordeal, but once connected, their rep is really nice and helpful. You'll need to have your Receipt Number, Beneficiary's full name and DOB, and of course yours too. Good luck...

The number you need to call is 603-334-0700. You are considered immigrant for this hotline and not the non-immigrant number.

Yes it is hard to get through, and even if you do, expect to be on hold for lengthy wait times. I was able to get through calling right before they open, so around 6:57am and again right before standard lunch break hour at 11:40am. I never had luck during the night, but you never know.

I believe its the 0700 number she has been phoning, now am I correct in thinking first thing in a morning people will answer before it starts going to automated messages?

You just need to keep calling. If you get the automated message, simply hang up and immediately dial again. You may need to dial 50 times a minute to get through, but eventually you will get through just to be on hold for 30 min or so.

Ive been calling morning and night for the last week. I have to redial tons of times, usually for about 6-7 mins, but my longest wait time has been 16 mins. Ive been calling around 11am and 11pm eastern time. Several times recently I get a busy signal, or the too many calls recording, but then when I do get through its because an agent has become available and there is no wait time at all. So basically just use redial, when you get the right recording hit 1 and then 1 again, and you might or might not wait.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

That's the generic answer they give. It usually takes 2-4 weeks from CSC to NVC.

Anyone know if the beneficiary can phone this number or is it just for the petitioner. I really have a problem with waiting around and I'm just getting so agitated waiting around :ranting::crying:

Please be advised that California Service Center is the faster one to process your case, but has been known to be slow as molasses to get it out to the NVC. This seems to be the only advantage that Texas has in that regard. It must have something to do with how they send them out.
