So my wife's parents are in their 70's and she needs to be able to travel outside the United States while the application is processed. what kind of time frame are we looking at since her father is having health issues and we would like to travel in August? We are sending in the paperwork this week.

60-90 days for EAD/AP combo card. You can always ask for an expedite based on the health issues. You will need to provide documentation of the health issues to show the expedite is needed.

It took us just a little over 2 months. We got the EAD combo card few months ago.

I was looking at other peoples timelines while waiting for the card and they were getting same results.

Welcome to the forum.

VJ Processing Times, easily accessible at the top of the forum page, are pretty much right-on for EAD and AP processing at this time: http://www.visajourney.com/content/times

When you get a chance, :time: It helps everyone that uses the forum, or is helped by the forum.

How's the water level at Lake Tapps?
